Robert J. De Luca, CPA — Partner-in-charge of litigation support practice. Bob has over 25 years experience and is the former partner-in-charge of a Big-4 healthcare consulting practice. Bob played key roles in the first hospital voluntary disclosure in the United States, the first Medicare PATH settlement in the United States, and the largest privately-held home health settlement / bankruptcy in the United States. He has provided expert witness testimony and lead settlement negotiations with the Department of Justice and Office of the Inspector General. Bob’s areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, buyer/seller disputes, Medicare regulatory issues, and physician compensation.
David A. Centafont, MBA — Vice President, Litigation Support Services. Dave has over 25 years of Medicare fiscal intermediary and national healthcare consulting firm experience. Dave was the director of provider payment at a Medicare fiscal intermediary where he was responsible for the Medicare payments of over 300 providers. Dave has extensive experience in litigation matters and has testified in federal and state courts, arbitration, and at the PRRB. Dave’s experience includes finance, operations, and regulatory expertise in hospitals, various litigation matters including contract disputes, valuations, civil and criminal prosecutions, and Medicare regulatory matters. Dave has been recognized by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as an expert in statistical sampling protocols.
