Regulatory Compliance Team Information

Our compliance team is comprised of nationally recognized experts in the areas of accounting and finance, regulatory compliance, including third-party reimbursement and licensure, Medicare/Medicaid coding and billing, statistical sampling protocols as well as all facets of cost reporting and cost allocation issues. The diverse background of our experts (Big Four Accounting/Consulting, hospital and health care provider compliance, practice management, financial and clinical operations, Medicare fiscal intermediary.) provides us the ability to assemble a formidable team to effectively assist providers on a myriad of health care issues. We view ourselves as a key component of the provider’s compliance team assembled to address the overall issues at hand spanning numerous provider settings (acute care, rehab, psych, home care, and physician). Our leadership team is led by:

During Bret’s nine year tenure as the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, oversaw the institution’s successful adherence to the defined requirements of a three-year (1999–2001) Corporate Integrity Agreement with the Department of Health and Human Services/Office of Inspector General, which resulted from the nation’s first voluntary disclosure settlement in October, 1998.
