Our DSH methodology analyzes each and every inpatient discharge during a hospital’s cost report year to determine if the days associated with each discharge do or do not qualify for DSH. Our automated tools will analyze each discharge for both Medicaid and Medicare eligibility, incorporate state paid claims files, match all newborns to their mother and perform a labor and delivery analysis (if needed). Our DSH services also include working with the FI to accept the DSH listings through audit.
